Xtralis VESDA OSI-10 Open-area Smoke Imaging Detector

The VESDA OSI-10 utilizes advanced smoke imaging technology to deliver early and accurate detection in open areas. Designed for robust fire detection, it offers reliable performance with minimal false alarms.

• Imaging resolution of 10 cm enables precise smoke detection over large open spaces
• Detection range covering up to 10,000 square feet ensures extensive area monitoring with a single unit
• High-sensitivity smoke detection detects smoke particles at the earliest stage of fire development
• Rapid response time minimizes fire damage potential by enabling quicker alarm activation
• Compatible with existing fire alarm systems for seamless integration and enhanced safety infrastructure

Compared to traditional smoke detectors and previous VESDA models, the OSI-10 excels with its imaging-based approach, offering superior coverage and sensitivity without the need for extensive sampling pipes. This makes it especially effective in large or complex open environments where early warning is critical.

Innovative Features and Superior Detection Technology

The VESDA OSI-10 employs state-of-the-art optical sensors combined with sophisticated image analysis algorithms to detect smoke patterns that conventional detectors might miss. Its open-area design avoids the installation challenges associated with ducted systems, reducing maintenance and installation costs.

Advanced filtering techniques significantly reduce false alarms caused by dust, steam, or other airborne particles, ensuring reliable alerts when genuine fire threats arise. The detector’s broad coverage and quick sensitivity adjustments make it adaptable to various environments, from industrial warehouses to large commercial spaces.

With industry-leading performance, the OSI-10 exemplifies the latest in fire detection technology, delivering peace of mind through early, accurate warnings that protect lives and property effectively.
